And they do it with Elegance, Grace & Nobility.  Their Eternal Wisdom, Superior Intelligence and Lifetime Dedication to their Masters place them 2nd to None!

From my first breath it's always been about the animals!
Couldn't Imagine Life Without them!

And while we're fond of all dogs, a well bred German Shepherd outshines all others. 


It's with these spectacular dogs we've chosen to
spend our lives.

Afterall, when you absolutely Love what you do, it doesn't seem like work.  It's a Labor of Love.  There's a Huge Difference!  As you scroll through our pages, I think you see there's allot of differences.  From the way the animals are cared for, to the Passion we have for them.

Below are just a few of my accomplishments and a bit about me.

It all began when I was a child, with a German Shepherd named Rolf, a red wagon and a best friend named Miriam.
We combed the neighborhoods of Chicago on a daily basis
searching for "Fallen Angels". 
Pups, dogs, cats, kittens, birds, bunnies, turtles. 
Didn't matter.
Rolf was always at our side.If they were hurt or abandoned they were coming home
with us to our makeshift hospital at Miriams house. 
There we'd fix them up, feed them, love them and get them to trust again.  Then we'd either keep them or find them a great home.  Miriam & I are still friends.
Began getting paid for training dogs at the age of 13 after I beat everyone in all three of the classes with my German Shepherd.

Since then I've trained over 700 dogs of all breeds. 
I still prefer a GSD to any dog on earth.

After opening my upscale Petshop in Chicago, I decided I wanted a safe place in the country to allow my beloved German Shepherds to stetch out.  I was frustrated that the parks & beaches had so much broken glass everywhere.The lack of respect and littering in our public parks was out of control back in the early 80's.  It created a very dangerous dilema for dogs romping through the parks.  Several times my dogs were badly cut from broken glass.I flew to Germany to pick up several German Shepherd Pups after a 2 long year search in America for a Noble, Well Bred German Shepherd came up empty.   Where had all the Great German Shepherds Gone?  The breed had changed in America drastically.  I decided to heck with it...I'll make my own German Shepherds.  Afterall, I had a lifetime of knowledge of superior German Shepherds.  My family is from Germany.  I spent 1/2 of my life there.  I speak the language and I knew what a wanted...a Rolf, a Sheena. I purchased a 40 acre farm near the Northern Illinois border, not far from Lake Geneva Wisconsin.3 Blocks back on a private road. 

I've owned 4 VA dogs on the Podium at once out of 6.
Not sure if anyone's ever had that.


We've Earned hundreds of Trophies & Ribbons & Plaques

My Igor was and is the oldest GSD
to ever receive a VA title....
Proving that you're never too old to be the Top Dog!
He was 10 years old and was competing against dogs half his age!

My dog Jupp beat the top World Renowned Dog Trainer of Germany...Proving a dog can sleep in your bed and compete at the World Level!Turned down an offer to buy my dog Jupp for $50,000.00.
He was Priceless! 
I've worked both as a Volunteer and as a paid employee in Animal Shelters in 5 Countries caring for, rehabilitating and training the unwanted and abused.

I endured the Parvo Epidemic in the 1980's at the city's
largest shelter even though no dogs survived.  
A nightmare I'll never forget.
Worked as a Veterinarian Technician in several hospitals.
I know that what they tell you that you need isn't often the case.
It just may be what they need you to need.
There is a difference.

I've Managed top Pet Shops & Aquariums

I owned one of the leading Upscale Pet Shops in Chicago providing full service of Home Pet Care, Training, and Grooming along with Expert Advice, Filtration & Aquarium Custom Design, Installation and Maintanence of Marine and Fresh water Acrylic Aquariums. 

Designed both tank & filtration system, installed and maintained a 2000 gallon marine aquarium for The Goose Island Brewery for years.  It housed some of the finest and rarest species of marine fish in a breath taking setting.  Eventually another company under bid me.  They got the contract and within 4 months they killed all the fish.  Nearly $20,000.00 worth of fish died needlessly.  Very sad.

I Hand raised & tamed a Green Moray EEL (named Cecil) from a tiny worm to a 4 foot monster.  He eventually outgrew my 500 gallon tank and he was sold to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for a large price tag.

Brought the Pig Ears to America.

Had the 1st German Shepherd Dog ever to attempt to be Cloned. Designed from Scratch 3 state of the art dog kennels.
Had my kennel copied several times without my permission.
I suppose that's a compliment.

Taught a friend in another country who had a dog training school how to train a dog in 2 weeks using positive methods of praise and snacks.  It saved his business and created happily trained dogs who were eager to please.

Spent over 60% of my earnings to purchase bags of dog food to distribute to the stray, starving dogs in Mexico City.  We would lay them on the ground and slice them open and in the morning they were empty. Dove into traffic during rush hour to Save a dog that was thrown out of someone's car.  I got the dog, nothing short of a miracle that we weren't killed. Donated a champion sired German Shepherd Puppy to a Rescue team who had been to the World Trade Center. 

Have flown across the country to rescue my dog that had
been left behind by a Minister of God when he moved. Have had my dogs flown back home if they've landed in a shelter.

Taken back a 13 year old gsd because the owner didn't want the baby to get hair on itself.  They got it as a puppy from me.   She lived comfortably in my home until age 15 dying of old age.  The pleasure was all mine. Chased that family away 3 years later when the baby was walking and they wanted another dog from me.  

Have sold pet dogs to people who had their lives changed by them.

Have sold dogs to people who have changed my life.

Have become best friends with many incredible people who have my dogs.

Have helped hundreds of children keep the
boogie men away at night.It's Our 21st Anniversary of breeding German Shepherds this year.  I've been blessed with having known the Best.
And the Pleasure Has been all Mine!
